The head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration urged the leaders of national police and DFS to solve the problem of “pernicky”.
The head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration Gennady Moskal responded to the blocking of roads near the border of Ukrainian activists from the provisions of the law that allows to import into Ukraine a car with a foreign registration only for the purpose of transit.
A comment he wrote on his own official website.
“We repeatedly paid attention of the SFS and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the issue of “pernicky” (the use of the citizens of Ukraine by vehicles with foreign registration. The norm of the Customs code, which allows our citizens to bring into the territory of Ukraine a foreign-registered cars only for the purpose of transit, is complete insanity,” he said.
According to Moskal, many people return home and do not go through Ukraine transit.
“We sent letters to the President of the SFS, Mr. Nasirova and the head of the National police, Ms. Dekanoidze asking to come in Transcarpathia personally or send their deputies to explain the “peresichny” that they are citizens of Ukraine, not transients in our own country. The problem of “Presicce”, which is relevant not only for Transcarpathia, needs to be addressed at the level of the Central authorities, instead of pulling away from her. That Nasirov and Dekanoidze did not respond to our letters, points or nabludenie to handle the situation, or plain cowardice,” said the Chairman of the Transcarpathian regional state administration.
We will note, according to Ukrainian legislation, imported cars from abroad may stay in Ukraine not more than five or not more than ten days, if the vehicle leaves the country through another checkpoint.
Recall, today, November 12, in the morning, activists blocked the road near the checkpoint “Uzhgorod” on the border with Slovakia and “Solotvino” Romania, demanding to increase the duration of transit for imports into Ukraine of cars.
After that, about 16 hours, was also blocked the road near the checkpoint “Rava-Russkaya” on the border with Poland.
