The President congratulated the military on the 25th anniversary of the Armed Forces.
President Petro Poroshenko arrived at the reference point on the front line, a kilometre from Horlivka to congratulate the Ukrainian military with the 25th anniversary of the Armed Forces and give them rewards.
This is stated on his official page in Facebook.
“I am pleased that the Ukrainian army people trust as well as the Church. Nice to see how much we have gone over the two years from when the volunteers were kept only by the power of volunteers and the army, which today is the pride of the Ukrainian state. Proud Of The Armed Forces Of Ukraine!” – he wrote.
“Today I am here with you to thank you for the great job you are doing,” situat the head of state’s press service.
Poroshenko also congratulated the volunteers on their holiday.
“I’m here to congratulate you on your volunteer Day, thank you for the great work you are doing. And to do what the government should do is to award the state awards and fighters of Armed forces of Ukraine, and our volunteers,” he said.
The President also talked to the volunteers and presented them with awards.
