Yarema called the possible causes of the tragic shooting in Knyazhychi

Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine, General-Lieutenant of militia in resignation (in 2005-2010, head of the Main Department of MIA of Ukraine in Kiev – ed.), Vitaly Yarema believes that led to the death of a five-person operation that the national police carried out the night of December 4 in the village knyazhichi, was prepared wrong and unprofessional.

I’m not going to resort to a deep analysis of the situation that happened, I completely don’t know, but of those facts which are known to me, I want to say that the operation was prepared very wrong and unprofessional,” said he.

The former attorney General admits that the actions of an employee of the Cord was affected by some psychological factor, maybe he’s “confused” or “misunderstood”, and believes that the answers to these questions should give the investigation and the prosecution.

We will remind, on December 4 in the morning near Kiev killed five police officers as a result of accidental skirmishes between soldiers of the Cord, cops, intelligence officers and employees of the State security service.

In the village knyazhichi of the Metropolitan criminal investigation Department worked to capture a dangerous gang of robbers. In one of the houses is police spy, this time in a neighbouring house burglar alarm, the place there arrived a dress of public service of protection which noticed and detained two policemen. The team decided that intelligence officers were captured by criminals and left in a van on the street, where employees of GSO detained the police-spies.

In the end, between state protection and team skirmish, which claimed five lives: killed two employees of civil service protection, two police officers intelligence officers and special forces CORD.

The leadership of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine has appointed an internal investigation regarding the incident. The Prosecutor’s office will establish the causes and circumstances of the shooting.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expressed condolences to the families of the victims near Kiev five policemen, and also promised that all perpetrators of the murder will be punished.
