Today, 8 December, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the decision on granting the consent to bringing to criminal liability of nardepa from the “Opposition bloc” Vadim Novinsky.
Just the decision was supported by 228 deputies of the 292 that were in the session hall. Expected, not a single vote for bringing Novinsky to justice gave “Opposition bloc” – a majority of parliamentarians voted “against”, some MPs did not vote, among them, notably, Novinsky and the brothers Mikhail and Dmitry Dobkin.

From the BPP “for” voted 103 of the MP, abstained, only one – Vasyl Brenzovych. Did not vote and six MPs, including, in particular, Vitaly Chepinoga. In an earlier article there was a mistake: it was mentioned that did not vote and the people’s Deputy Olga Chervakova, but she voted for the agreement on accountability Novinsky.
People’s front supported the bringing to justice Novinsky 55 votes. Abstaining only Pavel Pynzenyk, Deputy Chairman of the Rada Committee of Ukraine on issues of regulation.
In the group of “Revival” against the vote, spoke Andrey Shipko. From the “Will of the people” abstained the head of the parliamentary group Yaroslav Moskalenko.
In the fractions of RPL of Oleh Liashko, “Batkivshchyna” and “Samopomich” voted “for” all those present in the session hall policy.
Among individual abstained from voting Viktor Baloga and Vyacheslav Konstantinovsky.
Vadim Novinsky is on the case of illegal detention of the assistant to the now deceased Metropolitan of the UOC-MP Vladimir Alexander drabinko. According to investigators, Novinsky was a co-organizer of abductions for the change of leadership of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate 2013.
Novinsky himself denies the accusations.

A few minutes ago 28 votes “for” Vadim Novinsky deprived immunity. The decision in the hall quite a long discussion – nearly an hour and a half. He Novinsky entered the hall with high spirits, said that does not recognize his guilt.
