The GPU has completed the investigation of the case of Ephraim.
The state office of public Prosecutor finished a pretrial investigation in criminal proceedings concerning ex-the head of fraction of Party of regions Alexander Efremov , and made five more suspicion.
This is stated in the message of the GPU.
Efremov on the basis of evidence reasonably suspected: the organization of capture of the building, which ensures the operation of state authorities of Luhansk regional state administration for illicit use and interference with the normal activities of the institution (part 3 of article 27, article 341 of the criminal code), aiding in the capture of the building, which ensures the operation of state authorities of management of SBU in the Luhansk region for the purpose of illegal use and interference with the normal activities of the institution (part 5, article 27, article 341 of the criminal code of Ukraine).
He also is suspected of committing a deliberate action to change the boundaries of the territory and the state border of Ukraine in violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine, committed by a person who is a representative of the authorities, on preliminary arrangement by group of persons, which led to serious consequences (part 3 of article 110 of the criminal code of Ukraine), organizational and other assistance in the establishment and activities of the terrorist organization “LNR” (part 1 of article 258-3 of the criminal code of Ukraine).
And finally Ephraim is suspected of treason, i.e. an act intentionally committed a Ukrainian citizen to the detriment of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, namely: the provision of a foreign organization and its representatives, in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine (paragraph 1 of article 111 of the criminal code of Ukraine).
Currently, the defense has the right to familiarize with all materials of the pretrial investigation.

We will remind, the court extended the detention until 22 January 2017 to the former leader of the parliamentary faction of the Party of regions Oleksandr Yefremov, who is suspected of infringement of territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Eks-the Chairman of PR fraction is charged with funding the so-called “LNB” encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine and theft of property “Luganskugol”. The defense insisted that Efremov could not influence events in Lugansk in the spring of 2014, and the case against him was based on fabricated data.
