According to the President, during this difficult time Ukraine was able to ensure economic growth.
Russia’s share in the total foreign trade balance of Ukraine during the Russian aggression was reduced to 8%.
On this day, on the opening of the Ukrainian-Lithuanian business forum, said the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, reports Interfax.
“We were not only declared a war of conquest, a war of aggression and annexation of the Crimea, it was declared an economic blockade … Absolutely illegal, in violation of WTO rules, without any explanation, was closed Russian market. With 36%, do you know what today is Russia’s share in the total foreign trade balance of Ukraine? – 8%” – said Poroshenko.
According to the head of the state during this difficult time Ukraine has secured economic growth.
Poroshenko also noted that the EU is a leader in trade with Ukraine.
“What is now the place is the EU? Unconditional first place – more than 45%,” he said, adding that he considered inadequate and the figure.
It is noted that according to the state statistics service, export of services from Ukraine to Russia for the first 9 months of this year decreased against the same period last year by 1.5% to us $ 2.22 billion, while imports of services from Russia fell by 40.9% to us $ 0,30 billion In the structure of exports of services in the Russian Federation accounted for 31.8 per cent, and imports 8.1 per cent.
Regarding trade in goods, exports to Russia in January-September this year decreased by 30.1% to us $ 2.55 billion, while imports from Russia – by 34.3%, to $ 3.62 billion. In the structure of exports of goods to Russia accounted for 9.9%, imports – by 13.1%.

In total, the foreign trade turnover of Ukraine in goods and services during the first 9 months of the year 2016 $ of 64.23 billion, Russia’s share was about 13.5%.
At the last peak of economic cooperation in 2011, prior to the use of trade restrictions against Kyiv, the export of services to Russia amounted to $ 5.46 bln, or 40,9% of the total Ukrainian export of services import of services from Russia – $ 0,95 billion, or 15.3%.
As for merchandise trade, exports to Russia in 2011 reached $ of 19.82 billion, or 29% of all Ukrainian exports of goods, while import – accordingly $ 29, and 13 billion, or 35.3%.
Total in Ukraine’s foreign trade in goods and services in 2011, $ 170,54 billion, the share of Russia made up about 32.5%.
Recall, December 12, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Lithuania to Kiev there arrived the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite. Grybauskaite’s visit began with an official welcoming ceremony on the porch of the presidential Administration. Subsequently, they were scheduled to meet eye to eye, the press service of Poroshenko.
