Previously, the competition Commission was not elected the first Deputy state Secretary of the Cabinet, because none of the candidates received the required minimum number of points and asked the government to declare repeated competition. The Cabinet announced tenders for 18 of state secretaries of ministries and Secretary of state of the government, the Deputy Secretary of state and 4 Deputy secretaries of state. The competition Commission made 12 applicants for the position of Secretary of the Cabinet, 9 – the first Deputy Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers and 31 deputies.
Salary of Secretary of the Cabinet will consist of the official salary – 13 267 hryvnias, and also a series of allowances, of the Deputy – 12 320 hryvnia and allowances, the Vice – 11 372 hryvnia and allowances. Prior to the appointment of state secretaries perform their powers the Deputy Ministers – heads of the apparatus, but not longer than until 1 January 2017. In December 2015 the Verkhovna Rada has introduced the Institute of state secretaries.
