The President assured the strong mood of Ukraine is continuing actively to develop partnerships.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulated the international partners on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and the USA.
This was reported in the press center of the President of Ukraine.
“Since recognition of the independence of Ukraine, the United States remains a reliable and strategic partner of Ukraine both on a bilateral level and within international organizations. And between the two States laid a real democratic partnership in which the United States continues to provide invaluable practical assistance in the development of state institutions, civil society, market economy and strengthening the security of our country”, – said Poroshenko.

According to him, Ukraine is playing a historic role in strengthening global security and non-proliferation of nuclear weapons
“Abandoning the world’s third largest nuclear Arsenal and large amounts of conventional weapons and stockpiles of highly enriched uranium, Ukraine plays a historical role in strengthening global security and non-proliferation of nuclear weapons. It was a difficult decision, but Ukraine adopted them, relying on the assurances and security guarantees of foreign partners, primarily the United States,” – said the head of state.
Poroshenko thanked for the continued bipartisan support from the United States of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the difficult times of Russian aggression, when the Ukrainian government protects the key principles of freedom and democracy, which, in fact, laid the Foundation of the success and strength of the American people.
