Employees of the NBU in Kiev discovered the four dozen illegal currency exchangers
Over the past three months the staff of the national Bank has submitted to law enforcement authorities about the discovery in Kiev of 39 illegal currency exchangers.
On the site posted the addresses and photos of these exchangers. At the same time, provided that in place of the 18 of them have already started to work legal currency exchange.
In addition, the regulator for the last six months checked activity 362 structural units (exchange currency) non-Bank financial institutions in the capital and in 13 regions.
“The majority of violations are not significant and can be eliminated nonbank financial institutions themselves. This, for example, violations such as the lack of currency exchange of visual information, which reglamentary activities of NFU (copies of orders, regulations, licenses), or the lack of cashiers documents proving their identity,” – said the NBU, citing Director of the Department of financial monitoring of Igor Birch.
By the end of 2017 to check the exchange plan in all areas.
We will remind, at the beginning of this year in Ukraine, a license to conduct foreign exchange transactions had 30 non-Bank financial institutions and state “Ukrposhta”.
