In Kyiv city Council want to break with the Russian Embassy several contracts on land lease
In the Kyiv city Council want to terminate three contracts of lease of land plots with the Russian Embassy in Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the city Council.
So, on Tuesday, February 7, at the meeting of the standing Committee of Kyiv city Council on issues of urban planning, architecture and land use, the deputies agreed on the termination of the lease for three parcels that gave the Russian Embassy in Ukraine.

We are talking about the termination of leases land area 0.197 inch ha on Spasskaya street, 14, land area 0,3634 hectares in the street Spassky, 13-15 and on the street Borichev current, 17, 19, 21 area 0,3771 hectares in the Podolsk district.
“The land was granted in 1998 by the Russian Federation to use for a period of 49 years. For one hryvnia of the rent for the year the Muscovites had the right to build a new Embassy, Consulate and Ambassador’s residence, or to lease or sublease, lay in banks, or even to sell. Fortunately, in the 17 years that right, they are not managed, and therefore we can terminate the lease,” said city Council Deputy Igor Miroshnichenko.
Agreement going to break for misuse of land and failure to comply with the terms of contracts.
However, the first draft decisions should also consider at the plenary session of the city Council. After which land will return to municipal property, deputies will apply for the arrangement there of squares.
