As explained in the “Ukrzaliznytsia”, during an accident with derailed nine cars, not seven as earlier reported by the media.
“At the station Kyiv-Volyn 20:40 on February 11 occurred, the lateral collision of a group of wagons with a freight train during its movement on the adjacent track. As a result of this accident derailed 9 empty cars (2 tanks and 7 grain), and the support is damaged a contact network,” added the company.
It is also noted that as a result of accidents, loss of cargo there, the station staff are not affected, the movement of passenger trains is carried out without delay.
