Mogherini said that the EU is to keep sanctions against Russia until the Minsk agreement
EU high representative for foreign Affairs and security policy Federica Mogherini expressed confidence that the EU will continue its sanctions against Russia and hopes that Washington will do the same.

“I think that the Europeans will continue to maintain unity on this issue (on sanctions against Russia – ed.)” – said the European diplomat. She said that during his stay in Washington met with U.S. senior officials.
During it, she said, discussed the question of Russia, in particular, to fulfil its part of the Minsk agreements.

“I can’t answer for the US. I can say that we received calming messages, though unknown, to disperse opinions on this issue in the United States. I hope not,” said Mogherini.
The EU representative also noted that after meetings with representatives of Congress, she received a positive impression. “In particular, we agreed that while the Minsk deal is fully implemented, the sanctions remain in force”, – said Mogherini.

In the sanctions list included seven individuals: Mikhail Dedov, Michael KLISHIN, Kirill Kovalchuk, Dmitry Lebedev, Dmitry Mansurov, Oleg Minaev and Yevgeny Prigozhin.
