The expert is convinced that Flynn’s resignation will help to extend sanctions against Russia

The exception from the close circle of the President of trump is such a powerful Pro-Russian figures as Michael Flynn will help to maintain the current policy of the US sanctions pressure on Russia.

This was stated by the representative of the American Council on foreign policy Stephen Blank, writes UKRINFORM.

“I have no doubt that it will force the White house to keep pressure on Russia, since it is very unlikely that one who will come instead of Flynn, would be equally reckless in relation to Russia, like its predecessor,” – said the American expert.

Moreover, according to him, such changes in the local environment of the President of trump can put on a par (if not higher – ed) threatened by Russia with the threat of terrorism in the list of priorities of the national security Council.

Also given the “strong anti-Russian pressure” from the U.S. Congress, the current administration will be much harder to resist on the way to maintain sanctions.

“And if you add the recent exposure of fraud on the part of the Russians, who had violated the agreement on arms control, as it became known today, this fact only reinforces all the arguments,” said Stephen Blank.
