Lutsenko: Case Burisma is the correct result of the work of the GPU

In 2016, the General Prosecutor’s office of Ukraine returned to the state budget 10 billion UAH. This was stated by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko at a briefing on Wednesday, February 15. And the largest payment (paid) was carried out by Burisma Group Nikolay Zlochevsky.
The audit was assessed additional tax payments in the amount of 180 million UAH. Company Burisma Group fully repaid this sum, demonstrating compliance with international business practices.
“Expertise counted 180 million. All these 180 million paid by the company to the budget. This is the payment the payment to the budget in the history of Ukraine”, – said Yuriy Lutsenko, the situation around Burisma Group. This company Lutsenko praised the work of his Department as effective.
In the last two years Burisma paid about 5 billion UAH to budgets of all levels.
Recently the company announced the appointment of a new member of the Board of Directors – they became American, the former head of the counterterrorism center of the CIA and former Ambassador-at-large for combating terrorism Joseph Cofer black. “My job is to advise the group on security issues and prevention Informatik,” said Cofer black. Experts suggest that the new member of the Board of Directors not only balances the interests of Burisma Group in the United States, but can become a bridge between Ukraine and the new U.S. administration.
