“Ukrzaliznytsia” will launch four more high-speed trains
In 2017, the “Ukrzaliznytsia” will purchase four interregional high-speed train locomotives, with five cars each.
“Rolling stock of trains is planned to be used for the carriage of passengers on the following routes: fourth pair in the direction Kyiv – Lviv on the new route through Vinnitsa – Khmelnitsky – Ternopil, fifth pair in the message Kyiv – Kharkiv and the fourth pair of Kiev – Dnieper river – Kiev (or Krasnoarmejsk), Odessa – Dnipro (seasonal, summer), Odesa — Lviv, the extension of the route of the train Kiev – Zaporozhye to Melitopol”, – wrote in Facebook the head of “Ukrzaliznytsya” Wojciech Balczun.

Note that high-speed trains began to run in Ukraine five years ago.

Meanwhile, additional trains “intercity+” already in March will connect Kyiv with two major cities.
