The Ministry of economic development told about the shocking losses of Ukraine due to aggression of the trade Federation
The direct financial losses of Ukraine due to trade the aggression of Russia amounted to about a billion dollars.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of economic development and trade, trade representative of Ukraine Nataliya Mykolska, writes DT.UA.
According to her, the greatest losses were seen in exports to Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan: “If we sum up it all, then we will reach a figure of about one billion dollars of direct losses. But we lose and the market of related services, in the sector of transport and logistics” – said the official.
In her opinion, the Russian trade aggression pursues several objectives.
“The first is to limit the foreign currency proceeds to Ukraine, making us financially weaker. The second is to force the Ukrainian product markets in these countries, replacing them with Russian products. In most cases it’s really interchangeable products. The third goal is to understand the transnational corporations that have production in Ukraine, and in Russia that they should leave Ukrainian soil, and to develop production in the territory, which could provide unimpeded market access”, – concluded the Deputy Minister.
