Militants “LNR” was sentenced to three years imprisonment
The Rivne city court sentenced 41-year-old resident of Lugansk region for participation in the terrorist organization “LNR”.
About it reported in a press-the SBU center.
It is noted that in January 2015 a man joined the T. SV. “LPR”, got camo and a gun with cartridges and guarding checkpoints.
“In November of the same year (2015 – ed.) militant was detained by employees of security service of Ukraine in Rivne region in the checkpoint, “the Mound” during the attempts of crossing the state border with forged documents”, – added in Department.
Given that convicted of direct participation in hostilities did not accept, and that during a pretrial investigation, he sincerely repented, cooperated with investigators and provided information regarding other members of the terrorist organization “LNR”, the court decided on the application of softer punishment, than is provided by the sanction incriminated article of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
According to the court verdict, the attacker was found guilty under article “Participation in a terrorist organization” and sentenced to three years imprisonment. The sentence came into legal force.
We will remind, in the Donetsk region during the inspection at a checkpoint crossing into the man who went to Kiev, found documents confirming his involvement in illegal armed groups. It is noted that in Donetsk prison man exercised control over the order of prisoners.
