Of the EU and the US supported the NABU and SAP in the case against Nasirov
Embassy of the United States and the European Union delegation to Ukraine, expressed support to the National anti-corruption Bureau and the Specialized anticorruption Prosecutor’s office.
This is stated in the statement of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.
“We welcome the increasing efforts of the National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine and Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office on the implementation of the powers granted to them”, – said in a statement.
Of the EU and the US also stressed that it is necessary to have a specialized anti-corruption court.
“We welcome the court decision, taken on the morning of 7 March, but note that the events of the last few days confirm the need to have specialized anti-corruption court. These events also show why the future of audit the NAB should be independent, transparent and provide an objective analysis of the activities of the NEB in the past year”, – the document says.
The Agency also added that to achieve success in the fight against corruption is critically important for Ukraine to fulfill the people’s demands of Maidan, and to attract foreign direct investment needed for development of the Ukrainian economy.
We will remind, in the European Union, on the background of rendering justice to debarred from the duties of Chairman of the State fiscal service Novel Nasrawi, noted the work of anti-corruption, Bruno and the Prosecutor’s office and stressed the necessity of creation in Ukraine of anti-corruption courts.
