According to Zakrevsky, Manafort could have an impact on ex-President Viktor Yanukovych at that time, writes CNN.

She also added in the same conversation: “do you know who owns this strategy that led to this, which people had to expel or to kill? He has no moral or legal boundaries.”
In turn, Manafort not yet confirmed whether these reports are true. In addition, it is noted that on Thursday, March 9, Evgenia Zakrevskaya addressed a petition to the Prosecutor about check the content of SMS messages and to take action to force the U.S. authorities to interrogate Manafort.

She also added that this does not exclude the influence of Manafort on the actions and decisions of Yanukovych at the time.
