The finish line. The European Parliament has set a date for voting for the “bezviz” for Ukraine
The European Parliament has scheduled a debate on granting visa-free regime for Ukraine on April 5, and the next day voting will take place. Reported by the BBC.
For the liberalization of the visa regime, the relevant Committee of the European Parliament on 9 March adopted draft bezveza for Ukraine and handed over the document for final approval in the Parliament of the European Union.

In turn, the Committee on civil liberties, justice and home Affairs has approved by an absolute majority the draft law on amending the list of third countries whose citizens can enter the EU without visas.
According to the legislative initiative, to enjoy the right of visa-free travel to the EU by the owners of biometric passports.

To travel without the right to work for 90 days every six months, it will be possible in all EU countries except the UK and Ireland.
But Ukrainians will get visa-free access to other Schengen countries outside the EU – Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
We will remind, earlier in Maltese chairmanship in the EU Council said that Ukrainians will be able to travel to EU countries without visas in June 2017.

It should be noted that from 1 April 2017 shall enter into force the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania on mutual abolition of visas.
Also a visa-free regime is established between Ukraine and Turkey. The agreement stipulates that citizens of Ukraine and Turkey, which are ID-passports, can be located on the territory of both countries for a period from 90 to 180 days.
