The national Bank expects GDP growth at 3.2% in 2018
According to new estimates by the National Bank of Ukraine, real GDP will grow by 3.2% in 2018.
It is reported by the NBU.
In particular, the national Bank expects that before the end of 2017 enterprise on the territory controlled by Ukraine will be able to shift to alternative sources of raw materials and energy.
And in 2018, they will be able to reach the maximum loading of their production capacities.
“This, as well as the base effect will lead to the fact that in 2018 the economy will grow faster than was included in the January forecast”, – reported in the national Bank.
According to the January forecast, the GDP growth in 2018 is expected to reach 3%.

Recall that the GDP growth in Ukraine in 2016 amounted to 2.2%, the budget deficit was 2.9% and was in line with the IMF program. This was announced by first Deputy Finance Minister Oksana Markarova during a public report on the performance of the state budget for the year 2016.
