NBU introduces sanctions against Ukrainian “daughters” Russian banks
Tomorrow, March 23, will operate sanctions against the Ukrainian “daughters” Russian banks. They are administered for at least one year.
The national Bank of Ukraine introduced changes to the legal framework that sanctions determined by the decision of the Council, entered into force.
“Sanctions are forbidden to carry out any financial operations of these banks in favor of associated persons, in particular, the parent structures” – said the NBU.
We will remind, the national security Council decided to impose sanctions on 15 March in relation to the number of legal entities from Russia and their Ukrainian “daughters”. On 16 March the document was signed by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. In the sanctions list – “Sberbank”, “Vs Bank”, “joint-stock commercial industrial-investment Bank” (“Prominvestbank”), “VTB Bank”, “BM Bank”.
Earlier it was reported that the NBU “exactly” know, that all Russian banks in Ukraine are in negotiations about the sale.
