In the port of the Odessa region border guards found a lion cub, who wanted to take abroad
Today, March 23, at the international checkpoint “black sea trade port” the border guards and customs officers found the cub, who was trying to smuggle abroad.

At the time of registration on departure from Ukraine of one of the ships control has arrived the car “Fiat”. Driving a car was a citizen of Turkey, along with him were two passengers.
Machine with all the necessary documents were transported 2245 parrots and 4 cats. However, during in-depth inspection the border guards found the cub.
It turned out that one of the passengers hid in the Luggage compartment for cells with parrots under a blanket in a duffel bag with personal belongings, the lion. About the animal he stashed his countrymen were not warned.
According to preliminary information, a small predator only a month old.
While the cub was sent to Odessa zoo, and a foreigner brought to justice.
