Lutsenko called the murder of ex-Deputy of the Russian Federation Boronenkov in the center of Kiev “a cynical penalty witness” by the Kremlin
The murder of former state Duma Deputy, Denis Boronenkov was indicative of the execution of the witness that is familiar to the Kremlin.
This was announced on his page on Facebook, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko.
“The cynical murder of a witness, passing on charges of high treason of ex-President Yanukovych. Among white day in the centre of Kiev, was shot by the ex-Deputy of Russian state Duma Denis Voronenkov, who gave investigators the military prosecutors of critical evidence in the case. It was usual for the Kremlin to make an example of the witness”, – he stressed.
Also Lutsenko noted that Voronenkov was not the only witness from among senior Russian officials.
“The law provides for the inclusion in the trial testimony of Denis Boronenkov given under a written Protocol,” he said.
We will remind, on March 23 around 11:30 at the intersection of Taras Shevchenko Boulevard and Pushkinskaya street in Kiev shooting occurred.
Previously it is established that a man with a security guard came out of the hotel: the unknown opened fire. In the shooting was killed a former Deputy of the state Duma Denis Voronenkov. The attacker also wounded the security guard ex-politician, however, he had shot and wounded the killer. Now both wounded are in the hospital.
