Boronenkov was guarded by the Ukrainian intelligence Agency – GPU
The former Deputy of the state Duma Denis Voronenkov was under the protection of one of the Ukrainian special services. This was during the briefing regarding his murder, said the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko.
According to the head of the GPU, a wounded guard of the Russian ex-politician is the employee of special services of Ukraine.

“In this case I believe that the security officer acted absolutely professionally, look at the result: adenogenic managed to inflict significant damage to the killer in a situation when he wasn’t expecting it”, – quotes “Interfax-Ukraine” his quote.
Lutsenko added that the intelligence service which carried out protection Boronenkov, will conduct an internal investigation and establish if there were guard sufficient measures.
It is noteworthy that earlier a press-the Secretary of SBU Elena Gitlyanskaya stressed that Boronenkov no security from the security Service of Ukraine, and common media information about this is not true.
“The security service of Ukraine did not implement protective measures against the former Deputy of the state Duma of the Russian Federation Denis Boronenkov” she said.

Previously it is established that a man with a security guard came out of the hotel: the unknown opened fire. In the shooting was killed a former Deputy of the state Duma Denis Voronenkov. The attacker also wounded the security guard ex-politician, however, he had shot and wounded the killer. Both are in the hospital.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the murder traced the trail of the Russian special services, and the incident was called “an act of state terrorism by Russia”.
