Poroshenko and Turchynov congratulated the guardsmen on their holiday
In Ukraine on March 26, celebrating the Day the National guard.
One of the first military congratulated on his page in Facebook the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“Thank you, soldiers-national guardsmen for the loyalty oath, military and civic duty, devotion to the Ukrainian people. I sincerely congratulate you on holiday!” – he wrote.
Also joined the congratulations of Secretary of the NSDC Oleksandr Turchynov.
“Worldwide, in all military units, the word “guard” means “the best”. Exactly like you – those who took the first blow of the enemy on the East of our country. With indomitable courage and sacrifice, becoming in the gap for Ukraine, you showed the other patriots, is both possible and necessary to love the Motherland. Eternal glory to the heroes of the national guardsmen who gave their lives for our country!” – he stressed.
According to Turchynov, today the Ukrainian Armed forces, the national guard is one of the best and most powerful military units, is the main factor deterring Putin’s aggression against Ukraine.
“Ukrainians can be calm when they are both at the front and in the rear on duty to protect heroes like you! Strong Ukrainian army, a strong national guard and equipped with the most modern weapons, it’s the force that can really stop the enemy, it is a pledge of peace and tranquility in all of Europe!” – added the NSDC Secretary, wishing the soldiers good health, courage and strength and always return safely from combat duty to their families.
We will remind, the day before, on March 25, Ukraine celebrates 25 years of SBU. Poroshenko congratulated the security forces and thanked them for their professionalism and faithful service to the Motherland.
