Poroshenko assured that he will not withdraw from the Labour code anti-discrimination rules
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will not allow to extract from the new draft Labour code anti-discrimination rules.
This was announced on his page on Facebook press Secretary of the President Svyatoslav Tsigalko.
“The President will not allow the revision of Ukraine’s commitments that we have completed for visa-free regime. The decision of the parliamentary Committee to exclude from the draft new Labour code, the so-called anti-discrimination rules, the head of state considers erroneous and even provocative,” he said.
According to Tsigalko, Poroshenko said Ukrainian partners through diplomatic channels that he would not support the Committee’s position, she also does not find support in the Verkhovna Rada.
“Ukraine is performed, performs and will perform all its obligations”, – said the press Secretary Poroshenko.
Recall, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the second reading considers several laws aimed at ending discrimination against women. In particular, changes in the Labour code and the law on prevention of domestic violence.
