Former British Prime Minister Cameron arrived in Kiev. About than time to talk with Poroshenko
Flew to Kiev, former Prime Minister of great Britain David Cameron. He has already met with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“The President thanked David Cameron for his active and firm position in support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The President also praised the financial and expert assistance of the UK in the implementation of reforms, the training of the Armed forces of Ukraine and easing the humanitarian situation in the country. The parties discussed the questions of counteraction to the Russian aggression in the Donbas. It was about maintaining the current regime of EU sanctions against the Russian Federation as an effective tool to ensure full implementation of the Minsk agreements and complete restoration of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine”, – said the press service of the President.
Tomorrow, 29 March, Cameron will deliver a public lecture “Ukraine’s Place in a changing world” at the Institute of international relations of Kyiv national University named after Taras Shevchenko.
Recall that after the referendum in the UK, where he supported the country’s withdrawal from the EU, Cameron resigned from the post of Prime Minister.
