The national Commission will appeal to the government concerning the growth of prices for gas for the population

The national Commission carrying out regulation in the energy and utilities (NKREKU), will return to the Cabinet of Ministers to take measures to prevent the growth of final gas prices for the population.

About it reports a press-service of the Commission, UNIAN reports.

“For two years the Cabinet of Ministers regulates the final price of natural gas for the needs of the population and for the production of thermal energy by imposing special duties … Given this, the national Commission will address the Cabinet with a proposal to provide nepovyshenie General account (final price) for the population”, – stated in the message.

Also, the regulator notes that the final price of gas in total is 87% of the price of gas as a commodity (regulated by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers) and 13% from the payment for the delivery (is governed by the decisions of the national Commission).

The press service noted that for those categories of consumers who use gas for heating (gas boilers), the total score will decrease, in turn, for users with gas column is also expected to increase.

We will remind, the government has warned about the “split” payment for gas from April. The Cabinet plans to perform the process of splitting the cost of gas, what will happen to April 1, and will model the formula that generated the bills.

From April 1 for gas will have to pay twice, because the national regulatory Commission of energy in addition to tariffs for the consumed gas is introduced monthly fee – payment for the gas pipe came to your house or apartment. Moreover, NERC is called the European practice.

Changed the calculation methodology of outputs the delivery of gas to the apartment in a separate utility service, which reduces the cost of the actual gas consumed. And although the fuel is really a bit cheaper, the total cost payers for gas will grow by a third.
