Poroshenko discussed with the foreign Minister of Britain sanctions against Russia and military cooperation
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met in London with Secretary of state UK foreign and Commonwealth office, Boris Johnson and Minister of state for Affairs of the Armed forces Mike Penning.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the situation in the Donbass. In particular, they talked about the importance of adherence to EU sanctions against Russia until full implementation of the Minsk agreements and restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Also discussed was the issue of the extension of British technical and financial assistance to Ukraine, and strengthen bilateral military cooperation to counter Russian aggression.
Separate policies have paid attention to economic cooperation and starting a dialogue with the aim of simplifying the visa regime with Britain for citizens of Ukraine.
