Today during large-scale security operationcarried out jointly by the staff of the Chief military Prosecutor’s office of the Department of protection of economy of the National police and special forces of the CORD throughout the territory of Ukraine, was detained former heads of regional and local bodies of state tax service of Ukraine and Ministry of revenue, which is suspected of involvement in the organization of the so-called tax areas. The amount of damage caused to the state is about 96 billion UAH.

Recall that large-scale anti-corruption operation was conducted by the Prosecutor General and the interior Ministry. Today, after searches arrested 23 former high regional officials of the Ministry of income and fees from the Eastern and southern regions and from Kiev.
