Poroshenko is amazed by the pace of reforms in Ukraine

The pace of economic reforms being implemented in Ukraine, are really impressive.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko wrote on his page in Facebook.

“76-th place in Doing business rating (the rating of ease of doing business world Bank. The rating covers 190 countries ) – insufficient result for Ukraine. But we are firmly moving forward to improve the position of our country: this is evidenced by the new law on the tax on the capital, and the creation of the National Bureau of financial investigation, and a law banning “masks-show” on enterprises and the law on privatization, and the completion of the competition for the communication of the 4th generation. This pace of reform, which are really impressive, ” said the President.

We will remind, earlier the U.S. State Department called on Ukraine to redouble its efforts to reform.

20 February, Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman said that the Ukrainian authorities during the four years that passed after the revolution of dignity, has failed to secure sustainable economic growth and to radically improve the quality of life of citizens in accordance with the potential of the country.

To continue cooperation with the IMF, the country must implement a number of reforms: to ensure compliance with the pension reform objectives of cooperation, to adopt a law on privatization, to bring gas prices into line with import parity, to create anti-corruption court and to ensure the implementation of the budget for 2018 with a deficit of no more than 2 5% of GDP.
