After a meeting with the representative of the United States in Dubai the representative of the Kremlin Vladislav Surkov has declared literally the following: the current package of U.S. proposals look “usable”. As noted, the parties also discussed the state of preparations for the Seventh meeting of the Strategic Council of high level between Ukraine and Turkey, in particular, the key directions of deepening bilateral cooperation in trade-economic and investment spheres, as well as the possibility of implementing joint projects in the energy sector. Among other things, they talked about trilateral cooperation between Ukraine, Turkey and Qatar.

Besides, Poroshenko informed the Turkish side about the situation in the Donbass, the presidents also touched upon the situation in Russian-occupied Crimea, in particular, release from Russian prisons Ukrainian political prisoners.

In addition, the parties also condemned the use of chemical weapons in Syria.

Earlier, by order of the former head of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, who is now the adviser of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, has compiled a report on the peacekeeping mission in the Donbas. The report says that Sweden, which is not a NATO member, may be offered to the peacekeeping mission as a leading country (the U.S. representative). Also in the report it was proposed to attach to the air forces of Ukraine, about 20 thousand soldiers from countries not members of NATO, and 4 thousand policemen, which will help to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.

So, Ukraine and its Western allies to offer a full-scale UN mission, which will be throughout the occupied territory of Donbas, including the border with Russia, and will guarantee security in General, not just for the OSCE observers, as well as take control of the weapons warehouses of the Russian hybrid forces in the occupied territories, will oversee the disarmament of illegal armed groups, and the like. Russia rules out this option, which would reduce its influence in the occupied territory, and wants the peacekeepers were only on the line of contact.
