Prosecutors hope the case finally come to an end.

Ukraine’s Supreme Court sanctioned the return of the Gostiny Dvor building on Kontraktova square in Kyiv to the state property. Thus supported the position of the regional branch of state property Fund and upheld the decision of appeal economic court, the press service of the Prosecutor of Kyiv.

In Prosecutor’s office reminded that the building of 1994 was leased to a private company – PJSC “Special scientific-restoration design construction-production company “Ukrrestavratsiya”. Under the terms of the contract the tenant took full responsibility for the safety of the monument and maintenance of the building in a proper sanitary, fire and technical condition, however, the state property Fund has repeatedly established the facts of violations of the terms of the contract, the deterioration state of the object, until the creation of the threat of destruction of a monument of architecture.
