At a fraction of the PPB is ready to withdraw its candidate to the CEC and urged “people’s front” to join.

The Chairman of the faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko” Arthur Gerasimov expressed the readiness of his faction to withdraw one of their candidates to the Central electoral Commission and called for the same action colleagues from the faction “people’s front”.

He said this to journalists, UNIAN news Agency reports.

According to Gerasimov, the need to update the composition of the CEC, there were reservations about the number of candidates for the posts of members of the Commission in the representation of the President.

“The faction “BPP” ready to withdraw one of their candidates in order to solve this issue”, – he told, without having specified, about whom exactly there is a speech.

Also the Chairman of the faction “BPP” has called the faction “people’s front” to withdraw one of their candidates to the Central election Commission.

“We’ve heard the warnings from our colleagues from the popular front, including that necessary to implement the resolution of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe concerning the representation of one of the factions (Opposition bloc), which has not its representative (in the view of the President as members of the CEC). And we appeal to our colleagues in the coalition to withdraw one of their candidates in order to solve this issue,” he said.

In addition, Gerasimov called on the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrew Parubiy to gather the leaders of the factions at 12.00 for the solution of a question concerning updates of the composition of the Central election Commission.

“We appeal to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada in 12 hours to assemble the leaders of the factions to discuss the issue and solve it today,” – said the Chairman of the BPP.

We will remind, earlier the President Petro Poroshenko brought in Parliament representation about appointment of members of the CEC, said Basalaeva, Natalia Bernatsky, Michael Urbinskogo, Andrey Evstigneeva, Irina Efremova, Olga Galloway, Konopatskova Oleg, Svetlana Kustova, Olga Lotyuk, Vitaly Pucara, Eugene Radchenko, Tatyana Slipachuk, Leontius and Tatiana Shipilova Usikova only 14 candidates who took special test and received a positive conclusion.

On 5 July , the Rada failed to update the composition of the Central election Commissionsubmitted by President Petro Poroshenko. Because of this, the fraction of the PPO announced a boycott and stated that he would not vote for any bill until you update the CEC. In response, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted the law without the participation of the largest faction of the Poroshenko.

If the BPP or “popular front” suddenly decide to leave the coalition, it can cause the dissolution of Parliament and early elections. However, the current session of the Verkhovna Rada ends in a week, after the MPs go on two-month vacation.
