Former Vice-President of the USA Joe Biden will head the new Institute, which will deal with foreign policy issues in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania.

Center Biden will address issues of diplomacy and global engagement, national security and international relations. A new analytical facility will also cover domestic issues such as economy, environment, civil rights and criminal justice.
Biden also will have an office on campus Ivy League schools in Philadelphia.
“I look forward to when I can focus on the work that has been the mainstay of my career in public service: promoting and defending the postwar international order, which saves power and security for the United States,” said Biden.
Earlier, Biden noted that he plans to continue to live in Washington, at least for a while. His wife, Dr. Jill Biden, planned to continue teaching at the community College of Northern Virginia.
