The expert described the potential value of a hectare of agricultural land
Hectares of land for agricultural purposes can cost thousands of dollars when in Ukraine will lift the moratorium on its sale.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the agricultural holding KSG Agro Sergey Kasyanov, writes “UKRINFORM”.
“This issue (the prices of agricultural land in Ukraine) it is not necessary to create illusions. We need to be realistic and focus on the results of the work in the fields. It surprises me when talk seriously about 5-6 thousand dollars per hectare, while in a much more legal in the States neighboring Hungary or Poland – the price per hectare does not exceed 2-3 thousand dollars. We have the same at the time of valuation of the land should be based on the cost of the lease. If it will be 100 dollars, one thousand dollars (currently about 28 thousand UAH) the cost of a hectare”, – said Kasyanov.
The expert considered unrealistic assessment of 80-100 UAH per hectare.
We will remind, in Ukraine by the end of 2017 the moratorium on sale of agricultural land. Law on land market is still not adopted. In Agriculture, I suggest first to implement the market land sales, and the market long-term lease.
