Turchynov recalled the threats of the ex-speaker of the state Duma “severely punished” for the Crimea
Former Chairman of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin in conversation with, at that time, the acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov promised that the Russian army “severely punish” Ukraine.
About this said the NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov in an interview to “Censor”, dedicated to the third anniversary of the seizure of the Crimean Parliament and Cabinet.
Turchynov reported that on 28 February 2014 they had formed part of the national security Council from the newly elected leaders of the Cabinet and the power unit and assembled the first meeting.
According to him, during this meeting called by the speaker of the Russian state Duma Sergey Naryshkin.
“He introduced himself and said that Russia thinks of me as the legitimate Head of BP, but does not recognize as acting President, as there is a legitimate President Yanukovych. So he, as my colleague, the equal status of the Russian leadership is ready to communicate. I translate his comments into plain English: “Putin instructed me to negotiate with you”. Then threatened “by order”: “If there is a threat to the lives of Russian citizens or residents of the Crimea, the Russian army, we were cruelly punished You… nowhere to hide, etc…” something like That” – said Turchinov.

This Turchynov said that Russia started aggression against Ukraine, and the Russian leadership for his treachery will be responsible.
Soon there was another conversation with Naryshkin.
March 1, 2014 the Federation Council authorizes Putin to send troops into the territory of Ukraine. Political cover for this decision was an appeal of Yanukovych. Turchynov notes that there is a rapid increase vosmidesyatitonnye group of Russian troops at our border: tanks, artillery, multiple rocket launchers, attack aircraft. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian intelligence reports about complete readiness of the Russian Federation to invade.
According to the defence Ministry of Ukraine, this could oppose only two battalion tactical group and several integrated units totaling up to 5 thousand people. But, according to Turchynov, the Ukrainian army for many years systematically destroyed and in early 2014 was actually disabled.
