The UN security Council the US has urged Russia to stop its aggression in the Donbas and to implement the Minsk agreements
The US noted the necessity of implementation of the Minsk agreements and urged Russia and the separatists it backs to start a ceasefire in Eastern Ukraine.
This was stated during a meeting of the UN security Council, the Minister-counselor of the American delegation Christopher Klein, writes UKRINFORM.
Klein urged Russia and separatist forces, which maintains, “to immediately begin adhering to a ceasefire, withdraw all heavy weapons and to ensure full and unhindered access of OSCE observers”. The representative of the United States condemned parasitological OSCE and capturing unmanned aircraft, the SMM a joint Russian-separatist forces. “It is imperative that these forces cease their attacks on the civilian infrastructure, including the station of water filtration in Donetsk”, – summed up the representative of the United States.

Recall that the EU believes that efforts to implement the Minsk agreements must be doubled.
This was stated by the head of the European external action service Helga Schmid.
“Security in Europe is based on the principles of sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of States, inviolability of borders and peaceful settlement of disputes and the peace of country selection to determine their future,” said a European diplomat.
