Pechersk court ordered the Prosecutor General’s office to bring a case against Gontareva
The Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine shall register the criminal proceedings regarding the actions of the head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva. This decision was made by Pechersky court of the capital, according to a story TSN.19:30.
A claim by Igor Lutsenko says, Gontareva wrote a letter with recommendations on how the court must handle cases in relation to the NBU and other Ukrainian banks. The document is the MP believes the pressure on the court. However, the GPU refused to investigation in respect of Gontareva, because did not see sufficient grounds. The inaction of the Prosecutor of the people’s Deputy appealed to the court and it ordered law enforcement to respond.
“Today, the court was in our favor. Said GPU is required to register the criminal proceedings and verify whether the actions Gontareva crime in terms of treatment to our vessels with their explanation,” – said Lutsenko.
