The EU Council formally extended sanctions against Yanukovych and his entourage
The EU Council extended sanctions against 15 former Ukrainian officials – the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and his associates.
The official announcement appeared on the website of the EU Council on Friday, March 3.
It is noted that the sanctions extend to 6 March 2018. Freeze the assets of officials who are deemed responsible for the misappropriation of Ukrainian public funds or abuse of office.
However, one person was removed from the list. Earlier it was reported that we are talking about the ex-the regional Yury Ivanyushchenko.
Legal acts will be published in the EU Official journal on Saturday, March 4.
