The Prosecutor General’s office suspected Pechersk court in support of the withdrawal of Yanukovych’s son
General Prosecutor’s office performs procedural management in criminal proceedings concerning officials of PAO “all-Ukrainian development Bank”, which belongs to Oleksander Yanukovych.
This was reported in the press service of the Prosecutor General.
“During a pretrial investigation at the request of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine in 2015-2016, the Pechersk district court of Kyiv were seized on the Deposit accounts opened by Bank’s employees totaling about 1 billion UAH, as there is plenty of reason to believe that the actual owner of the funds is Alexander Yanukovych,” – said in the message.
It is noted that since the end of December 2016 by some investigators and judges of the Pechersk district court. Kiev began to be satisfied the petition of lawyers and taken a controversial decision on removal of arrest from the specified funds in connection with the invalidity of imposing their fellow judges.
“In some cases, the same investigating judge, considering similar petitions of the lawyer for the month took a different decision”, – reported in Prosecutor’s office.
To prevent the withdrawal of funds from the savings accounts of PJSC “Ukrainian Bank of development” opened in the National Bank of Ukraine, at the request of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine 17.01.2017 Pechersk district court of Kyiv re-seized the funds of these individuals.
In addition, the General Prosecutor of Ukraine jointly with the State financial monitoring service stopped financial transactions in Bank accounts, which were transferred funds after the lifting of arrests and serve a new petition for seizure of property before trial.
We will remind, on November 28 Yuriy Lutsenko to Svyatoshynsky district court of Kyiv announcedthat Viktor Yanukovych declared suspect in treason – the content of the suspicion is declared orally, namely, the notice was sent to all known addresses of the former President. On the same day after reading this suspicions the Military Prosecutor presented his lawyer Igor Fedorenko present in court.
