Rada ratified the Agreement on free trade between Ukraine and Canada
Today the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on ratification of the Agreement on free trade between Ukraine and Canada.
For a decision voted by 272 deputies.

According to the document, will develop bilateral trade-economic cooperation between Ukraine and Canada, domestic producers benefit from duty-free access to the canadian market. For Ukrainian business will open opportunities in new markets, the agreement will contribute to the modernization of production to enhance competitiveness. It is also expected that the implementation of the agreement will contribute to the creation of new jobs in Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko after the adoption of the ratification noted that now the Ukrainian business will have access to the North American market, which means the growth of Ukrainian exports, and foreign direct investment in Ukraine – at 36 milayev dollars. The agreement also provides duty-free access on 98% of headings in the canadian market, he added.
Earlier, on March 9, the Senate of Canada (Upper house of Parliament) has ratified in the second, the penultimate reading of the agreement on free trade zone with Ukraine.
