“Farewell party”. Gontareva told, when I leave the position of head of NBU
The head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva will retire only in the case when it will nominate a “professional and a technocrat”. She stated this during a business forum in Kiev, reports Radio Liberty.

We will remind, recently in the media there reported that Gontareva plans to leave the post. In particular, in early March to a journalist’s question regarding tranche of the IMF, the head of national Bank does not rule out the possibility that this signature could be her last.
Subsequently, however, the press service of the NBU denied the mass rumors about the resignation of the head of the institution.
“This message is not displayed, and hence the information is not true. Now all members of the Board work according to plan and have a tight schedule of work”, – said the NBU.
