The foreign Ministry called absurd the decision on correspondence arrest Yatsenyuk court of the Russian Federation
The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine has called absurd the decision on correspondence arrest of the former Prime Minister of Ukraine and leader of the “popular front” Arseniy Yatsenyuk and said that such actions indicate the continuation of the hybrid war of Russia against Ukraine. This is stated in the press service of the MFA of Ukraine.

“Absurd accusations in criminal crimes, which became the basis for making this decision have nothing to do with reality, nor with common sense. But, this is another evidence of the complete degradation of the Russian state system, which has turned justice into an obedient tool of the legal justification of the Russian aggression against Ukraine”, – stated in the message.
The foreign Ministry also stressed that in this way Russia is trying to divert attention from the real crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine at the direction of senior political and military leadership of the Russian Federation.

In this regard, the Ministry of foreign Affairs urged the international community to increase pressure on Russia to stop the aggression against Ukraine and “restore the respect of the fundamental norms and principles of international law”.
We will remind, earlier the court arrested in absentia former Prime Minister of Ukraine and leader of the party “national front” Arseniy Yatsenyuk. In Russia he is accused of “atrocities” during the war in Chechnya.
The decision to arrest was taken Essentuksky city court of Stavropol region of the Russian Federation, taking into account the resolution of the investigator of the Main investigation Department of the TFR in the North Caucasian Federal district.
