The Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on amendments to the state budget

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on amendments to the law “On State budget of Ukraine for 2017”. “For” vote of 226 deputies.

Bill No. 6600 was prepared for the purpose of sending overfulfillment of the state budget to increase spending to address the difficult issues of defense, public order and state security, socio-economic issues.

“In 2017 it is expected to continue economic growth while preserving macroeconomic stability: real GDP growth is projected at 1.8%, the volume of nominal GDP -2 845,8 billion UAH, consumer price index (in average annual terms) – 112,9%, the consumer price index (December to December of previous year) – 111,2%”, – stated in the explanatory Memorandum.

Taking into account the adopted amendments, the state budget revenues are proposed to increase by 26.0 billion UAH, including the General Fund 25.0 billion UAH and special Fund of 1.0 billion.

At the same time, the Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman thanked the MPs for the adoption of amendments to the budget. “I thank the deputies for approved budget changes for 2017”, – he wrote on Twitter.
