Ukraine plans to visit the world’s largest operator of container terminals
In 2018 in Ukraine may begin to operate the world’s largest operator of container terminals company Hutchison Ports (Hong Kong).
“The Commission of the Ministry of infrastructure agreed to the request of the company Hutchison Ports for the rental of the sea port the Black sea (Odessa region) in the region of 1 to 6 berths. There is still a tender of the state property Fund, tons of bureaucracy, but this is an important step for Ukraine”, – said in Facebook the Minister of infrastructure Vladimir Omelian.
This will be the first asset of Hutchison Ports in the black sea basin.
“I am happy that the team of the Ministry of infrastructure was able to convince this world of the Grand to come to Ukraine. It is a claim to the Ukrainian leadership in the global Maritime industry, Ukraine’s integration in the global logistic routes, the new high-tech working space, transparent business processes and investments,” said Omeljan.
Earlier it was reported that black sea port is losing loyal customers because of the high rates for processing of cargo.
