Special forces wanted to detain Saakashvili, however, left the hotel – Derevyanko
The people’s Deputy Yuri Derevyanko reported that the leader of the “Movement of new forces,” Mikheil Saakashvili was not detained, but the armed forces of the state border service arrived in Kyiv hotel where it is located.
MP asserts that the policy wanted to hold.
According to him, the administration and the hotel security refused to let the enforcers into its territory. The riot police showed a court decision regarding the fact that they have the right to be on private property.
The hotel was later approached by the supporters of Saakashvili, after which the commandos left the room, says Derevyanko.
