In Kyiv city state administration supported the archaeological monument at the Postal square in Kiev national status.

The decision adopted by the Advisory Council for the protection of cultural heritage at the Department of culture of the KSCA.

Was reviewed and supported by the passport criteria historical monuments “part of the coastal quarter of the medieval city of Kyiv” and recommended to complement the guise of “urban planning” and give the status of national.

Now the developers are correcting a passport of a monument of archeology. After this process is complete, the passport will give the management of conservation of historical environment and protection of objects of cultural heritage of Kyiv, and then, after another review, – the Ministry of culture.

“I hope the developers passports will be operational, and then the Ministry of culture as soon as possible will consider this issue take action and make representation to the Cabinet of Ministers”, – declared in Department of conservation of historical environment and protection of objects of cultural heritage of the capital.

Recall that in early July the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the draft of the resolution No. 8541 on the preservation of historical and cultural heritage at the Postal square in Kiev.
