Speaker of Ministry of defense of the ATO reported 10 dead and 4 wounded fighters.

For the past day the Russian occupation troops repeatedly violated the “silence regime” in the zone ATO actively using heavy weapons. This was announced by the speaker of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine on ATO Andrei Lysenko.

Lugansk direction

According to Lysenko, the main fighting unfolded in the Popasnyansky area where there has been an escalation. Invaders began shelling the positions of Ukrainian soldiers after 15 hours and continued them until late in the evening.

When it got dark, the enemy began to use all the means at the forefront of heavy weapons – mortars and heavy artillery. The total number of issued ammunition – more than 80.

Also one provocation by the illegal armed groups occurred in the Crimean. In other areas the direction of Lugansk yesterday was quiet.

In just the past day in Lugansk direction the enemy took place on 16 shelling, including 7 of the heavy weapons.

Donetsk direction

On Donetsk the direction, according to the speaker of the defense Ministry ATO, yesterday was a bit of shelling, but they were long enough. Fighting occurred at several points on the arc Svetlodarsk, Gorlovka, Avdeyevka in the industrial area and North of it. The invaders used 82 mm mortars and armored vehicles. In the Donetsk airport yesterday were quiet.

In just the past day in Donetsk direction occurred on 5 enemy attacks, including 3 of the heavy weapons.

Mariupol direction

According to Lysenko, on the Mariupol direction the fighting conducted on the same lines as in previous days (Marinka, starognatovki the front Pavlopol, Shirokino), however the number of enemy attacks has increased significantly. Occupants regularly use heavy weapons.

The most difficult situation in Shirokino. In particular, the session enemy mortar fire there lasted more than 4 hours, and in the daytime. In the Water, the enemy had no mortars and 122-mm cannon. Also enemy mortar attack occurred in Krasnogorovka – in the last time there was quiet.

In just the past day in the direction of Mariupol took place on the 27th of enemy attacks, including 10 of the heavy weapons.
